Do office affairs last or work?

Depends on the company and its culture. My wife and I have several friends who ended up marrying co-workers. Office affairs can be awkward if they don't work out, but unless it's between a supervisor and his or her employee, there may not be any lasting repercussions.

Well the word 'affair' doesn't say lets be committed!

I don't see them working, especially if you protray yourself in the wrong light. I see them as flings, just a hook up.

Mr. Right will take me out, and take me seriously.

I have this 3 month barrier before anything sexual.. and it really does descipher true men from womanizing boys.

Affairs in general do not last.Office affairs are even worse; someone often ends up unemployed.

Maybe not "office", as in you see each other day, but I have been dating a coworker (we work in seperate departments) for 3 years and plan on gettin married next summer.

They can, but the problem is that if they end badly, you are stuck having to see that person at work. It's not usually worth the risk.
