No. Church is where we grow in the knowledge of Jesus. Church is where we grow in Jesus also!

Many ungodly people see the church as a crutch for losers, unfortunately these are the very people who need the church. It would be nice to see more people in the church but even Jesus said not everybody will enter into heaven. Very few will make it in while the rest will suffer in misery in the lake of fire for all eternity.

Sounds reasonable to me. Some benefit from attending a church, some do not. The only 'church' we need, is the universal body of believers that have faith in Christ. Attending a brick and mortar building is optional.

As an atheist I say yes I do agree. If going to church helps them in some way, good luck to them.

The church is for followers that have a fear of death and feel the need to belong, even to the extent of having faith in mythology. Freethinkers accept life as it is and what nature has to offer.
