skin blackening after crepe bandage/ace wrap?
my mom got blackening of the skin on her wrist a day after a doc wrapped an ace wrap roll on her wrist/and forearm for a strain. Is the black discoloration a bad indicator?

Could be a bruise, or maybe the bandage was too tight (which can cause circulatory problems and the deadening of the skin). Call your Doc and ask him.

well...i doubt its bruise but its still possible...but blackening of skin sounds lik huge circualtion problems which means the doc put on that wrap waaay too tight ...unlikly but it could be frostbite...
