dating question about men - guys plz answer!?

there is a guy that I know, met him a few years ago, and he moved away last summer. He ended up coming back to his hometown (where I live) to be closer to family, etc. I don't think he was holding up well in the big city of NY.

Anyway, long story short is that I'm attracted to him, and he's really sweet and NICE. There aren't too many of them around anymore. Problem is that he is 30 years old has no job, moved back in with his parents (didn't save to move back%2

Update:

it's not about money, it's about being ambitious and having his life together at age 30. that's all.

Why do people look to utter strangers to become blessed into a relationship? In all seriousness now, does money really matter? He's had a rough time in New York, he wouldn't have saved up enough money to move back, and it seems to me you like him, with or without the money, so I say go for it, assuming this is what you want advice on.

If you like him you should give him a chance, and if he seems like a total bum, kick him out. Although, if he's as nice as you say he is then chances are that his failed attempt at a new life in New York has put him down and he hasn't got back on his feet yet. If that's the case, a girlfriend may be just the thing he needs to get his **** back in gear and get on with his life. So ask him out! Good luck.
