My male cat Bobby used to sleep with my son.?

Bobby is lonely. My wife and I had a cat for 19 1/2 years. He would sleep with me curled up next to me. When I was on a trip he would walk althrough the house crying in the middle of the night looking for me. So I know what your saying.

You may what to lay out some of your sons socks or something that my still have his scent to remind Bobby of happier times.

Cat's are wonderful pets to have, your are very lucky.

The same thing happened with me, I made my cat a little bed in the living room and after a week of my cat meowing at my door she stopped and started sleeping in her new bed.

if you cant have your son move in back, then you should have your son bring bobby to his new place... i think thats the best solution since cats miss the things they miss terribly and sometimes, they wont eat

my heart goes out to you, my son recently went away to college and his cat of 16 years misses him allot. keep fussing him and give him his own bed to sleep in maybe high up in your room or somewhere else in your house and he will soon get used to your son being gone but for now keep up the fussing. happy cat owning
