What is causing my ear pressure?

I woke up at 2 in the morning last night with a lot of ear pressure (almost like they needed to pop, but worse). I was also really dizzy when I got up. I went back to sleep and it wasn't relieved this morning, but the dizziness is gone. I don't have any other symptoms other than being really sensitive to sound and most noises make my head ring. Things as simple as running water in the sink or someone mowing outside make my head hurt like crazy!

Should I go to the doctor or do you think it's just blocked eustation tubes?

Thanks in advance!

Update:

I've tried everything to remove the pressure, but it doesn't work. It's different than the airplane-ears-need-to-pop feeling. With that feeling you can't hear as well... I hear fine. The sound actually hurts my ears more than anything.

To get rid of ear pressure put your 2 fingers on your nose so you cant breathe through it anymore. Then blow with you nose so your ears would pop putting positive ear pressure. It will be relieving.
