is there an equivilent condition 2 alzheimers 4 cats?

my gfz has an older, petite nutbasket cat named tippy, and she suspects that she has alzheimers.

    Yes, sadly cats can become senile. The technical term for it is Feline Cognitive Disfunction.

    If it is an old cat it may be somewhat senile. Alzheimer's is a disease of the brain. Senility or dementia happens naturally to some elderly people.

    Yes. It happened to my cat. They can become senile and start forgetting where their food and litter is etc.
