It seems no one remembers how to be young anymore. I mean, so your 900 years old. So what, that mean you can't play and tease and have fun. You ever wonder why kids are so happy and adult get madder with every year that passes? Its because they forget how to enjoy life and laugh at stupid childish things that really are actually funny.
Are you this person?
Why do people lose their humor the older they get?
There are so many things in life that are funny and up lifting to ones spirit. Knock knock joke are told by adults. You are the perfect example of someone without a sense of humor. Do you lose it after the are grown or were you a jerk to your kids too?
So basically WARREN your saying that it's just my generation and most like when we get older the "dumb sense of humor will return?? I hope so! :)
People say to me all the time "your such a kid!" I say yes, and I intend on staying that way. I am required to grow old not grow up. =P

I'm nearly 70 and still have a pretty good sense of humor, a dumb one sometimes, but that seems to be okay.
I will have to wait about 830 years to find out how to keep my humor when I'm 900 years old.
By the way, my getting madder peaked when I was in my 30's.

I don't know about anyone else, but I still have the great sense of humor that I've had since I was a youngster. I'm still a kid inside, so maybe that's why. I've learned that having a sense of humor is needed in order to get us through life sometimes.
edit: Speaking of having a sense of humor! The second Chilean miner who was just rescued from the mine, had his sense of humor intact, as he emerged from the mine. Once he was able to leave the rescue cage that brought him to safety, after hugging his wife/g/f, he dropped his yellow sack. He reached inside, & handed out chunks of rock to some who were cheering for him. See, despite all this miner has been through for 69 days, he still has a sense of humor. Awesome.☺

I've never lost my childish sense of humor and never intend to. I look much younger than I really am, act much younger, walk like I'm younger, and definitely feel much younger than my years. My grandchildren range in age from 16 on down and they all love to be around me because I'm fun!...And I smile a lot, too. I also believe too, that my happy, positive, attitude and outlook on life has kept me healthier!

We don't. We still laugh, we still goof off, we still crack jokes. We still remember the old jokes and the silly things we did as youth, and we still laugh when we talk about those silly things.
Essentially we are still the same persons we were when we were 16. Well, maybe just a little bit more mature, as we remember that some of the things we did as teenagers weren't quite right.

Must be because there's nothing new under the sun. But maybe not... I just got a joke in my email today from a friend. Now picture this... The caption read: "Much to their surprise, the virgins awaiting muslims in heaven were not quite what they expected", and the photo showed 17 nuns smiling but wielding shot guns. Now, that really made me laugh!

I giggle and am more humorous as I have aged. (69) It sure makes life a lot more fun having a sense of humor.

Turn off the PC, get a good funny movie, relax, and rekindle the humor that is within your soul.

I have not lost it at all. In fact I am a major trouble maker according to my grand kids.

The matter is really joy, not age. Far as age goes, if, as you age, you decide joy is for youth, you lose.
