What percentage of the UK are Atheist/Agnostic and has science made a joke of religion?

I'm American but I heard that agnosticism/atheism were on the rise in several European countries.

Education of any kind has a lot to do with it but science certainly doesn't help.

If a person says they are christian on a survey, whether they practice or not, they won't show as nonbelievers. That's something you have to determine on an individual basis.

Education has played a large part in undermining people's faith in the existence of a God. Most people, if they are honest with themselves do not really believe in God. Many people hope that there is a God but this is not the same as belief. Belief is saying "I believe there is a fire behind this door because the door is hot and there is smoke coming under the door." This is a far cry from the religious "I think there is a fire behind this door because there is a sign that says 'Fire Door' on it." When push comes to shove, a person who believes there is a fire behind a door, runs the other way. The person near a "fire door" when the fire alarm goes off, sees reason and exits the building by that door. This is why there are "Theists" in prison, and "Theists" being unkind to others, they know that all they have that is binding is the written word and nothing else.

I don't mean to insult any true Theists that believe beyond reasonable doubt but anyone who is wishy-washy in their faith is actually an Atheist because they do not really believe.

Science has made a joke of religion and though I don't know the percentages in the UK, there are more atheist/agnostics there due to education.

Atheists, scientists, christians.. all sorts, are converting to Islam, there is one version of the book unlike the bible = catholicism, jahovas w.. christianity.. calvanism..protastant...ect ect... There is one God, there were many prophets... we live to worship Him then die to relax in eternal paradise or hell fire.. depending on ... ect...... after actually reading the bible 21 years of being a christian all my life... i finally decided to convert to Islam.... The Quran is still 75% of the bible which Mohammed COINCEDENTLEY spoke... so how they say he was possesd im not so sure? they mock The Quran saying its violant when christians dont even follow or know half their own book or they mock theyr religion itself.. they say, oh the old testiment is just for jews.. ok.. so jesus being a jew, in Israe, preaching to jews..... was he then not just for Jews?????????????????? Work it out.

The bible itself is a joke. Have you ever read it? Religion itself is a joke.

But as to the second one - science does not need to make a joke of religion - religion does that well enough on its own.

Science hasn't made a joke of religion. It's just made the joke funnier.
