How much do mobile phone contracts tend to cost in America?

Just out of curiosity, I know there's tons of price plans but in general how much do people pay ?

For comparison, here in the UK I pay £22.50 on an 18 month contract with 600 mins talk, unlimited texts and 500mb web browsing. I got a Nokia Music Express phone free with the deal.

How would that compare with over the pond ?

Ta,

You can get "unlimited" plans for about $40 (£25), with a two year service agreement.

Depending on where you go, you can get a Cricket, Boost Mobile, or Metro phone where your bill will be a flat rate of $35-65 depending on the features. That is definitely the most affordable option, but I have Verizon and pay $175 a month for two lines with the smart phone package and a 2-year agreement. Often times you can get a great deal on phones if you sign up a contract, and some phones you can get for free. That's only for contracts though, Cricket and Boost for example, don't cut deals like that.

If you go to their websites you should be able to scope it out for yourself and see what's out there, you also want to make sure the phone company has towers in the area you're going to be in.

    VerizonWireless.com

    boostmobile.com

    www.metropcs.com

    etc.

When comparing prices, keep in mind that prices in the UK are the real price, while in the US they are net of taxes and a wide variety of dubious fees. A $40/mo contract is really more like $50.

When I lived in the UK, I found the contracts, particularly SIM only, to be considerably cheaper than US contracts unless I wanted a very large bucket of minutes.

Get back time and again and you still won't see it all, it's this that may happen to you if you may spend your holiday in Florence; with hotelbye you will find out more. Surprisingly small because it is, this riverside city looms large on the world's'must-sees'list. Cradle of the Renaissance and of tourist people that travel here to party on world-class artwork, Florence is a magnetic, passionate and busy city. The Piazzale Michelangelo (The Michelangelo Square) is among the areas you should see in Florence. This square is just a big, partly pedestrian zed square found over the Arno River from the middle of Florence. From the square readers have a wonderful view over the city. The roomy square was organized in 1860 by Giuseppe Poggi, a nearby architect who is also noted for his creation of boulevards round the center of Florence. Found at the hub of the city's major market region, the Basilica di San Lorenzo is one of many oldest churches of Florence and was the burial place of all key people of the Medici family. Don't delay! Florence and its spectacular pieces await your visit!
