If i run around my room so that i could lose weight and get leaner?
If i run back and forth around my room will that give the same(or close) results as running outside?

I'm not sure why you'd rather run in your room. It will get you active, which will burn more calories, which eventually burns fat. However, as far as being the same as running outside? Doubtful. Outside you will encounter hills that require more muscles to conquer and therefore burns more calories. Not to mention the added muscle you will eventually gain, despite how little, will actually increase your metabolism.

absolutely not. unlike inside your room where there are barriers, outside you will be running continuously (depending how motivated you are) and with a little as breaks as possible. also like someone metioned there are different terrain types and obsticles that while require more energy to conquer giving you a better work out. rememeber no pain no gain and taking the short cut wont help you. plus if your not going to actually work hard don't bother, you're wasting your own time. you need a healthy mental state too.

Depends how big your room is and how many times you run around it. It should be around a 40 feet diameter, so run around the diameter of it 15 times and that'll probably be about half a mile. Don't trip on anything lol

you can loose weight by anything but its gonna take a long time and it is the same excersize as running outside and is more boring
