Glenn Beck has "coincidentally" been reporting how George Soros has contributed about $1.8 MIL to NPR, an arguably {to them!} news-outlet, to "hire 100 journalists" all week and now this... Coincidence or by design? Williams was reportedly fired two hours after the "remarks" (those being what most would feel in a similar circumstance), not from any muslim backlash, but apparently from their own sense of "political-correctness". When a multi-billionaire gives "payola" to a supposed "independent" news organization (funded also by our tax dollars!) and a journalist can be fired for saying what they think, I feel the first amendment is truly "for sale" to the highest bidder with blind accolades... NPR, as a non sequitar, is my vote for the first cut in our "discretionary spending" to trim the deficit...

Look, the left leaning media has been backing the progressive movement, and said nothing when that same movement attacked right leaning media. All the leftists backed the shutting down of Fox, and prayed for Rush, Beck, Hannity, and all the other right wing hosts... which meant they opposed the free speech rights of media they disagreed with.

Now, a left leaning moderate is fired from his government funded liberal news position because he gave an opinion. The message is clear to all NPR journalists, give only opinions we agree with, or you'll be fired also.

You are witnessing an assault on free speech. Turn you back, or join the fray... your choice.

Well I knew Juan Williams is to blame for this not Bill O'Reilly, he did have him on his show, FOX may tolerant his Anti-Islamic Words but not NPR they had with him.

Juan should have been smart enough to realize that just because you have a valid opinion on something, you don't voice it.

If Juan wants to tag Dakota Fanning on the day she turns 18, should he be able to say it on the air and expect to keep his job? After all, a lot of people agree with that position, and there is nothing illegal with saying it.

It has nothing to do with bowing down to Muslims; it has more to do with saying --- or not saying --- the wrong thing.

National Public Radio hired every Air America liberal, Juan is a moderate liberal. At NPR that would mean he is a right wing republican equal to Rush or Beck.
