Character limit on AKC names, will these fit?

I am looking to get a puppy from a breeder of the Belgian Sheepdog (Groenendael) later this year. I've been mulling over registered names for a while, but I can't seem to figure out a few things about character limits. I know the limit includes any spaces, punctuation, and the like...

I also know I need to have the kennel name, Phoenix, in it. But does the prefix of Ch. count in the character limit?

Right now I really like:

Ch. Phoenix Wings of Dark Flame

Ch. Phoenix on Ebon Wings

Ch. Phoenix War on Wings

Ch. Phoenix Nights are Never Forever

Ch. Phoenix Kisses of Fire

Ch. Phoenix Moonfire Melody

So if you guys could tell me first off, the character limit total. Secondly, if the Ch. counts in that total. And lastly, which names you like for these sleek, intelligent ebon shepherds. Names mentioned are keeping in line with the kennel traditions and sire and dam names.

Puppy is Male.

Update:

I was thinking that one would be pushing it...and learned something new! Maybe it's a good sign then that almost every. single. dog. in her pedigree has that prefix, haha! Here I thought it was something about the kennel!

Update 2:

Thanks, Ragapple. This is my first actual puppy from a breeder, so the AKC and limited registration and naming is all new to me!

Phoenix is the kennel name, so that's all good. :) Again, just didn't realize Ch. was a title, haha!

I count 36 spaces on the application- and for an additional $10 you can up it to 50 spaces (and YOU can squash that in the little entry form spaces)

you CAN NOT name a dog Ch anything! that is a title that must be earned! it verbotten anywhere in the name unless the dog earns the right to have the prefix! kind of like you can't name your child John Jones PhD or Sally Smith MD since its earned later it's not in limit

some breeders want pups in a litter named along theams (IE all broadway play titles or baseball terms) so be aware.....

I think all of those will fit without you having to pay extra. The limit is 36, spaces between words, apostrophes, and hyphens are counted along with letters.

    ~Wings of Dark Flame: 27

    ~on Ebon Wings: 21

    ~War on wings: 20

    ~Nights are Never Forever: 32

    ~Kisses of Fire: 22

    ~Moonfire Melody: 23

Ch cannot be put anywhere, not Ch nor Champion. That has to be earned.

I like moonfire melody, and wings of dark flame

  • The Ch usually denotes the dog has a champion title, so you're pup wouldn't have that.

I don't think any of the names you listed are too long, perhaps with the exception of Nights are Never Forever (although I'm not knowledgeable at all on character limits).

Out of those you listed I like Moonfire Melody.
