I have a movable hard lump on my right hand?

The lump is about an inch above my right wrist, and about three-fourths of an inch in width. I can move it up, down, right, and left, and it doesn't hurt. It's been there for about three months now, and I have no idea what it is. Any ideas? And is it serious? Thanks!!

    It`s a ganglion - I had one.

They`re harmless (it`s basically gristle made up of excess nerve tissue) but annoying , they can be surgically removed safely but mine went when my brother hit my wrist very hard with a "blunt object" LOL.

    Don`t worry.

A "lump" on your body can be a sign of cancer. You probably won't have it but just check it out at your local doctors. But also this lump could be Growing Pains. Do you usually get pains in your wrist sometimes? If so this could be growing pains (Where your bone keeps on growing whilst twisting and turning) and the lump could be a part of the cartilage trying to grow correctly. Thanks and i hope this helped.

Highly Unlikely to be cancer most likely it is a Synovial cyst or (ganglion). It may go away on it own but if it get big you will have to go to a hand surgeon and get it removed .
