We have been using Frontline Plus for awhile now, and it works for us in our area.

    Both our dogs and cats.

I suggest to actually talk to your vet first before starting any flea preventative, to see which one is better to use in your area.

I've used both... I use Advantage for my indoor cats. And I used Frontline Plus for my Dogs. They both work well...

On the package of Advantage is says you can use 1 a week, if you have a infestation of fleas. Which is what I had to do because we were taking care of my friends dogs and they gave my cats fleas like crazy they were jumping everywhere in the room! SO GROSS!!! So I bought Advantage and used one on my cat Luna and the other on my cat Kayla.. waited 2weeks and added the next ones again to make sure all fleas are DEAD!!! I haven't seen one flea since!

I have used Frontline on my cats too, but it does not say anywhere that you may use it more than once month.

    Hope that kinda helped lol

The marketplace seems to have made the decision. Advantage has a small market share. Frontline Plus is actually better then Frontline, as the second ingredient prevents flea eggs from hatching. Frontline is the market leader, sold in most pet stores.

Revolution, only from your vet, is actually a preferred product by many vets, as it provides other protections, but no protection against ticks.

I've used both on dogs, and I swear by Frontline Plus. I rely on it keep keep fleas off of my dog so that she doesn't give them to my indoor cats. None of them, knock on wood, has ever had a flea.

interior the previous few years I actual have had no success with Frontline Plus, and that i'm examining greater approximately how fleas are taking off to construct a resistance to it. for the reason that I actual have switched to earnings the initiating of final spring I actual have not seen a flea! I additionally ripped up all my carpets interior the puppy factors, and positioned out flea traps close to their beds (the type with lights and stick paper). K9 Advantix won't be able to be used in families with cats, its poisonous to them. additionally I actual have heard no longer something good with regard to the hot Promeris!

Neither. I prefer to use an all-natural flea product called Feline Target Spray for Fleas. It is way more effective and economical in the long run! http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-fleas
