im drunk and listening to the cure is there any hope for me?

    Nope no hope for you. Best thing you can do is continue on and make sure you get into their darker stuff too.

    Maybe, just maybe, you can avoid getting involved in such things as early Bauhaus and the like. God help you if you start humming the tune to Bela Lugosi's Dead.
