I'm pregnant and have a urinary tract infection, is there anything I can do aside from the medication to ease?
the pain? I went to my ob/gyn 2 weeks ago and he put me on medication. I knew something was wrong when I didn't feel any relief after a full week on medication. The secretary called me back and said the lab results had come back and the infection was stronger than the medication, so they gave me something stronger. I've been taking the medication religiously for the past 3 days and don't feel any relief. My next appointment is in two days. What can I do till then to ease the pain I feel in my pelvic area? I'm also really nervous that this infection has been in me for about 3 weeks now.

tylenol, its not just for headaches and its safe...not advil (ibprofen) but acetominiphne which is tylenol. Plus plenty of liquids and cranberry juice is really all i can suggest. From my experience if the pain is not gone by now you may need something stronger
