Some random guy at the bar said "Hey buddy, heard ya need a job?"

(I was basically telling the bartender I was having a hell of time finding work since I got laid off)

    I replied "Yeah"

ever since I've been doing Electrical work -- The man at the bar owned an Electrical company, he hired me, gave me an apprenticeship, sent me to school, and now I pretty much run his company..

Do I enjoy it? I wouldn't say I enjoy it.. I'd rather be snowboarding ;P But I have fun at work, and I don't hate my job by no means.

No regrets.. you shouldn't validate yourself by your job.. it really doesn't matter at all.

I got into government work when i realized I could collect a pretty decent paycheck without really doing much and I can't get fired. Big government is great for me ( I make over $140k for doing almost nothing, plus I get one month of paid vacation)
