What is the best science fiction/fantasy book you've ever read?

That's a hard choice. I've read so many great novels, it's difficult to pick a "best" from them. I might list Pattern For Conquest by George O. Smith and Pawns of Null-A by A.E. van Vogt, for the simple reason these were early science fiction that introduced me to rocket ships, space, and fantastic adventure. Wow tough question. There are many, many fantasy books i have read and loved. But my first true love would have to be the Harry Potter series by J K Rowling. Reading for me is something that i've grown into. I was never a high level reader when i was a child, I found it to be something extremely difficult for me to do. My dad used to read Harry Potter to me most nights and it hold a lot of nice memories for me.

I still remember the feeling when i first started reading the books. The Harry Potter series will aways have a place in my heart. For me it was a way to escape from the world we live in, land of dreaming. No other book has ever made me laugh, cry and get mad in the course of just a few pages.
