Can anyone give me an idea of what's wrong with my cat please?
My cat is about seven years old, spayed, has all of her shots, and I just took her for her check-up a few months ago (so she's not due for her annual check-up for another five months). Last week, she threw up and was off-balance for a couple minutes afterward; we thought it was a fluke so we let it go. But she just did it again a little while ago.
She doesn't seem to be running a fever. Her balance is fine now. Her appetite is normal. She's a bit more affectionate than usual, but other than that, she's not acting any different. She'll play if she's given something to play with. She's wearing a collar, but it isn't tight (I can fit two fingers under it).
If anyone needs more information, ask. I'm thinking of taking her to the vet tomorrow just to be sure.
We haven't changed her food recently, and it's dry cat food, nothing that has been recalled. She actually used to vomit at least twice a week (she has hairballs) before we switched to this brand. Now she only vomits once in a while.
And yes, she's using the litterbox normally.
My husband has agreed to take her to the vet tomorrow, since I'm working an 11 hour shift then, and today is my first day off in a week.
We tried switching her to canned food (gradually) once before. She didn't handle it well.

Occasionally cats eat things that they shouldn't, like dental floss or junk from the garbage. They either vomit, or pass it. Of course they eat tinsel from any Christmas tree too.
Appetite and affection are your good signs. I don't think anything is wrong.
If she stops eating, her intestines would be blocked, other bad sign is vomiting blood.
The dizziness just goes with vomiting, cats vomit often sometimes for no good reason, could be overeating.

Could it be the food? Just as human food has issues from time to time, pet food can as well (I'm sure you've heard about those pet food recalls). Maybe she ate something around the house more than once that she shouldn't have? And is she going to the litter box normally? One of my cat's threw up and seemed to be dizzy when he was constipated one time! I'm sure it's nothing, but just keep an eye on her.

This could be caused by too many things, so Y! Answers isn't the right place to try. It could be an inner ear infection, brain tumour, you name it. Go see your vet.

I hope all is fine. She doesn't need any more shots and I would switch her to an all canned diet once she gets a clean bill of health.
