I've typically seen criminal justice paired with security management, or emergency response management, but either way, it sounds like an exciting career! Some of the different career field areas you can be a part of include:

    - law enforcement

    - corrections

    - juvenile justice

    - legal arenas

    - probation and parole

    - investigative support

    - forensics/forensic psychology

    - criminal psychology

As for jobs, it depends on if you are talking psychology in general, or pairing it with criminal justice.

If you pair it with psychology you could explore some of the following:

    - Criminal or forensics psychologist

    - Crime Scene Investigation

    - ATF Agent

    - Bailiff

    - CIA Agent

    - Compliance Officer

    - Corrections Officer

    - Customs Agent

    - DEA Agent

    - FBI Agent

    - Private Investigator

As for just a psychology major, you could be looking at:

    - Counselors

    - Clinical Psychologist

    - School Psychologist

    - Social Psychologist

and other various psychologist, depending on what you specialize in.

My cousin went to school for psychology in New Jersey, and she is going for her PHD in order to be able to get a job, but I don't know how different it is in Canada.

    Good luck to you!
