I had a nosebleed? should i be worried?

Well i haven't a nose bleed in almost 2 years, But yesterday and today i suddenly had one, Yesterday the bleeding stopped fairly quickly, but there was a fair amount of blood, and today i had another one, which wasn't as much. I've also had headaches but i've had a cold for around 5 days.

I was just wondering if it was anything to be worried about? because i rarely have nosebleeds and i've had colds like this before and it never happened then

i would not be worried. Nosebleeds can happen if you are in a really hot room and go out into the cold. also when you have a cold you nose can be irritated. if it keeps happening and you continue to have the cold call the doctor.

Colds and sinus infections are a common cause of nosebleeds. Nasal cavities also become dry and irritated from many medications used to cure the common cold. If your cold continues, you develop a fever or the nosebleeds become more intense and frequent, it's time to call the doctor.
