Will child support for 1 child be doubled if that same couple have another together?

    If the couple is close enough to be having another child, why is there child support involved? The child support for one child wouldn't be doubled, but there would be a new child support order for the new child.

    You need to look that up on a child support calculator for your state.

    it was 22% for 1 child for me and 28% total for two children...same ex wife,the lawyer had both children listed separately and this was how it broke down
