why wont my cat leave me alone?

She constantly meows at me when i'm sitting anywhere. And i just yell at her to stop, but i eventually fold under her pressure and forces me to pet her. When i finally start petting her she starts violently licking my face and wont stop. So I throw her off of me and the process begins all over again. She started doing this probably 3-6 months ago. I'm just like any other person owned by a cat and constantly show her attention and don't get out much. So I know it's not her trying to spend time with me while I'm home. It's gotten to the point of sometimes I just don't even want to deal with her and throw her outside (she's not an outside cat).

Check she has fresh water, food and somewhere to pee. It can often just be she is trying to tell you one of those things. If none of those then get her a nice feeling fleecy blanket and there is a chance she will prefer to go sit on that rather than you... worth a try.

If all those and she still does it.. well maybe she just wants to go out and realises that is the way to get you to let her outside, cats are cunning creatures.

She probably wants fresh food, water, or a clean litter box. check all of these before yelling at her. Cats are very smart animals; and if the only way she can go outside is by doing this, she will. Plus the past owner may have neglected her. Which will make her want much more attention

You should not be yelling at your cat or throwing her anywhere.

What breed is she? My guess is she is an owner-dependant breed and you just didn't bother yourself to check this before you got her.

Your cat is trying to tell you something. She either wants your attention (why not just push her away from your face and let her drool on a blanket or something? Cats deserve to enjoy themselves too) or she wants something. Is her food and water fresh? Is her litter tray clean? Does she need brushing?

If you cat is not an outside cat, WHY ARE YOU THROWING HER OUTSIDE? That is cruel. Do not punish your cat because it loves you. If you want her to stay away from you, give her a catnip toy or something. Of course, she may just want to get outside. Maybe if you open the door she will walk out herself (please, dear god, check on her and let her in when she wants, as an indoor cat she will not like being forgotten about and left outside crying at the door for hours).

Excess drool/licking is sometimes a sign of tooth problems. Is she eating enough dry food and seeing a vet often enough? You claim you give her lots of attention but clearly you aren't prepared to care for her properly from the way you talk about her.

Yelling won't solve anything. It seems that she was raised (before you got her, likely) to be very affectionate. But, in my opinion, you are not being very nice to her.

First, you can ignore her when she meows. When you respond, you reinforce her behavior. So start to pet her on your terms, not on hers.

When she starts to lick you, gently push her head away, or put her on the floor. Put her on the floor, not your description. (It may be not what you meant, but it was what you posted.)

You serve no purpose by exiling her outside. She will not understand why.

You can consider a time out for her. Putting her in a small dark place for several minutes when she does something you want to correct. But not too long.

She probably feels neglected or shes trying to tell you something. She just wants you to love her the same way she loves you :( Throwing her outside is mean. My cat does that and i think its adorable :)
