Philosophy is about determine truth from falsehood. The scientific method is a philosophical principle. Psychology itself to be true must be philosophical. Psycho-therapy deals with things that necessarily precede concept formation (and thus philosophy), but compliment philosophy very well because when you understand yourself you understand others.

Political theory to be valid must be philosophical. What passes for political theory today and throughout history has been aimed at creating a sustainable system for social cohesion (that's the claim anyway) and has failed miserably as every single government that has ever existed has never stayed the same size of shrunk on it's own. They always grow until they can no longer sustain the pillaging of the public pocket.

The justifications for government control you hear all the time are interesting topics for psychology. When someone talks about the government they are almost exclusively projecting their own parents onto government.

There is a really awesome and interesting philosophy podcast run by a guy named Stefan Molyneux that links politics, psychology and philosophy together. It's called "Free Domain Radio: the philosophy of personal and political liberty". A good video you might like along these lines is here:

Yes. You cannot engage in any kind of meaningful discussion on any of these three topics individually without evoking various aspects of the other two. They are all three simply fascinating, aren't they?
