Do you have your 3 year old enrolled in any activities?

I'm looking to get my almost 3 year old into some sort of activity to keep us busy through the winter. We've done swimming lessons in the past, but unfortunately that isn't an option this year. What other types of activities do they have for that age group. I only know of Gymboree and Music together in our are . Both are overpriced chains, so I'd like to explore other options.

Update:

We already do plenty of activities at the library

My daughter is turning 4 in march. She currently takes skating lessons which she LOVES and gymnastics.

In my area, our options are:

    swimming

    gymnastics

    dance

    music

    art

    skating

We did gymnastics last winter and we are doing it again soon. We live in a small town and about the only activities are offered by the YMCA (except for dance).

Depends on your area. But here in the metro Boston area, there are loads of free activities for toddlers. Try meetup.com and your town library.
