Very fair deal. No gun shop will let a Beretta go for any cheaper.

So, that particular configuration (92D) is Beretta's double action only (DAO) version of the 92. It was never that popular a configuration so the pricing has always lagged a bit behind other configurations. It's not a bad deal by any means, but not as good as if it were the normal 92FS configuration.

Some people really like DAO guns, other's don't, there isn't a ton of middle ground. So, if you like that configuration then it's a decent gun for the money. If you don't, I'd avoid it.

if he's like most of us gun traders asking 360 means he really wants 325 so offer him 275 & start haggling from there.

if he pretends to be insulted or grabs his chest & acts like he's having a heart attack when you offer 275 point out some little flaw you see on the gun (a scratch or a corner where the bluing is worn or anything at all) & work your way up to 300 then walk away if he doesn't take it. then a week or so later tell him you're really looking for one you can shoot single action as well as double action but you will give him 310 for his gun anyway.

see if he will throw in a box of ammo, a holster or an extra magazine(clip) since you work together & he wont be needing them anyway if he sells the gun.

That's one the lower side of fair for that gun. If you're in the market for a Beretta 92 then I'd say it's worth it, though just IMHO, there are better used guns to be had for the money than the Beretta 92.

Thats a DAO. No external hammer. You don't see them around as they were an unpopular model. For 360 that would be a fair price. Now is this his price or have you beat him down to a lower price? I would say try offering $300 and see what his counter offer is.
