My favourite band is Metallica. And they released St. Anger in 2003.
Load and ReLoad weren't that great either but i enjoyed at least a few songs from both albums.

I don't have just one favorite now, but back in the 70s Kansas was my favorite band and they released some pretty lame ones in the early 80s after Steve Walsh and Kerry Livgren left. I don't even remember the name of the album that featured the single "Fight Fire With Fire" but it didn't impress me. They could have survived changing lead vocalists without a problem, but it just wasn't the same without Kerry Livgren's songwriting. Steve Walsh was probably the second best songwriter, so with both gone they no longer had that progressive sound that made me like them in the first place. They didn't hit their stride again until Steve Walsh returned and Steve Morse joined as the new lead guitarist and co-writer.

All Slayer's new work.
I'm getting sick of them, most of their songs have a very similiar sound to each other. I'm not a big fan of Reign in Blood either, the only two that don't sound the same on that album is Angel of Death and Raining Blood. Everything else sounds the same.

Soundgarden- Telephantisim. I was so dissapointed when I found out it was just a collection of their old songs. They can do way better than that. The proof is Superunknown- it show's Cornell's genius. I just hope they didnt loose it over all the years they were apart....
