Why are you americans so against obama?

Many brain dead morons watch fox news. Also fox news owns yahoo so they censor out anything that speaks for obama. He is actually a highly favored president with an average approval rating of 48%. The people on this website just cant develop the intellect for themselves to see that he is actually doing a good a job. Also I have recently learned that their are many on this site that work for the republican orginizations to do nothing but down talk the presidency. Otherwise they are brainwashing people.

First, if you knew anything at all about the role of the president in US government, then you would realize that the presidency is too constitutionally limited to "destroy[ ] the world economy." The American economy is far too complex to be fixed or wrecked by this one officeholder, let alone the entire world economy. In the world economy, there are literally billions of actors. Are you really crazy enough to think that Bush destroyed that?

Second, the economy has improved slightly, but correlation does not equal causation. What economists said years ago about the stimulus is that most of the funds won't be released quickly enough to do any real good (and a lot of the money won't even help the economy, anyway), but that the economy will likely improve in a few years anyway, as recessions so often do.

Third, are your grocery stores run by your government? How about clothing? Does your government own your houses? Why should all these businesses be run by greedy corporate fatcats rather than a democratically elected government? Oh, I don't know, maybe because people own their labor and should get to decide what they're going to charge for it, just like you decide how much you're going to sell your car for when you decide to buy a new one. When something belongs to you, then you set the terms of its sale, even a single mother needs your car to get to work.

I don't think Democrats are communists or enemies of America, but I'm pretty sure you're not too far away from a communist and I don't think you give a crap either way what happens to the US.

I am a prosperous American, and I can tell you why the republicans were voted back into ONE of our 3 houses of government : The liberal democrats in control 2006 - 2010 doubled our federal debt. This is not to say that the republicans in control 2000-2006 were any good--they were not, they overspent as well.

2 catastrophic wars? killing 2 million people? Who is counting. Everyone is wrong. These are real-life training exercises and pre-positioned strike forces for use in the middle east.

The unemployment numbers reported in our mainstream media DO NOT INCLUDE those who have already expended their unemployment (2 years) or are discouraged, and no longer seeking work. A more realistic number is 20% unemployment, and it has NOT gone down significantly.

Our health system became the best before government control. It has been the best even with government dominating those >62 and supporting a large percentage of those under 18. The remainder either go without insurance or buy it, usually through work. Surely we have our share of greedy corporate fatcats, but if you gave the same power to a government official they would reward themselves even more, with more waste and futility.

Yes, there is something you don't know : Obama and his democrats HATE America, and see it through the eyes of the disenfranchised, and think they deserve to be able to make corrections, and that magically, despite all the lessons of history, we can spend and legislate ourselves into prosperity and niceness.

I can tell your right now, that obama is bad news. He is a socialist. A socialist is one who believe that the rich should pay for the lazy poor, and that the everyone should be equal. This belief is a faulty belief because there will always be people who refuse to work and choose to be poor. Now the rich have to make up for it. This is wrong. Our Economy is sinking because the government feels the need to regulate it. Obama is regulating the economy as it is. If you let an economy be, then the it will level out and be self controlled, but the government is greedy, and their is no money for them in letting the economy free float. Obama has double our nations debt in the 2ish years he has been office. This is a definite sign of a bad President. He has basically sold us to china. Now this new health care bill REQUIRES that you PAY for your health care. Before hand it was free. This health care bill DOES NOT give everyone free health care, thank god. Remember, nothing is free in this world, so to say FREE HEALTH CARE is one of the biggest lies. Obama is a sweet talker that has no business experience. He hasn't ran a company, much less a hot dog stand in his whole entire life. now he is president? Wow. He has brought America from bad to worse. If you understood American history, principles, values and morals like any real American does, then you would understand why Obama is bad news.

Right it's been 2 years since he has promised to improve the American economy and NOTHING has been done to help it. Perhaps people are looking past his great smile and speech and started realizing that he has socialist motives.

Second, our debt is higher then ever, so the economy improving remains to be seen. Throwing money at the problems in the economy is just a quick fix and in the long run may be the greatest disaster in our history. Why is it with liberals it always comes down to greed when the quality of life in this day in age is the result of the same corporations and industry that are the root of this "greed". Better that we are all poor together?

Oh boy where do you get your news from? The Democrats took control of congress in and the senate in 2006 and it has all come unwound since then. Unemployment has gotten worse since he took office, and the economy has gotten better? What fantasy world do you live in? He has created more debt in two years than any other president previous, he pissed away $787 billion dollars that the U.S government does not even have! The American people do not want the government's crappy healthcare system they want jobs! Obama really had a chance to do something there but instead he is worried about the two or three gay people who want to be in the military, he is worried about America's image to the world, we do not give a rat's about our image to the rest of the world only that we have a huge freaking weapons, aircraft carriers, jets, bombs bigger than everybody else!

Its very simple. Obama is President of the United States. If Obama were the prime minister of Scotland and he was ruining Scotland, I wouldn't really care that much. Especially if I hated Scotland then I would actually like you have Obama as your PM. Do you hate the US? Is that why you wish him on us?

THe economic crisis came about after the Clinton years. IT just took a while to manifest itself into the melt down we saw in 2008.

Obama is bankrupting our country. It probably won't actually occur until after he is gone from the office. Then you can blame the Republicans again.
