And how do you imagine hell?

People often imagine heaven as high in the clouds with big gold houses and stuff. But I imagine heaven as snowy and white, but sunny.

People also imagine hell as fiery, but I imagine hell more as an empty, dark, cold and silent abyss which goes on forever.

It's been happening to me alot recently in my foot for some reason. Does anyone know why?

How come western society is so obssessed with racism, sexism, "gay rights" and other forms of prejudice but it sees fit to be sectarian?

Atheists and christians are continualy trying to enforce their opinions on eachother. The BBC mocks christians openly in a way that would earn them punishment if they said the same about gay or black people. In Scotland it is almost a shame to be christian.

Why does it matter to you what someone else beleives? It would make absolutely no difference to your life if I beleive or don't beleive in god.

I'm from Scotland. Here 300 years ago there was no such thing as the english language. People here spoke either norn, Gáidhlig or lowland scots. but since then our three native languages have almost disapeared as a result of globalisation by the media and (sometimes violent) anglicisation campaigns by the english government as late as the 1940s.

Resultedly, the norn language is now completely extinct. Gáidhlig has been reduced to 54,000 speakers in scotlands most isolated mountain villages, only 200,000 people with an average age of 60 speak Lowland scots, which faces extinction. I feel that this is a great loss to our culture and heritage that we have lost our native languages. In fact many people in Scotland are barely aware of the existence of these languages.

Every weak a language dies, and by 2050 over half the worlds languages will be extinct as a result of globalisation.

Do you think something should be done?

The European Union, China, USA, Russia, India and Japan all hope to have a lunar base up and running as early as 10 years time, while each of them are planning the much awaited mission to put a man on mars.

I mean seriously? I've ran out of patience with the americans on this website (no offence but it's particularily the republicans) who have decided that everything is the fault of far-away muslims and non-existent communist/socialist groups.

People who actually are stupid enough to think that Barak Obama is "The enemy of America", "a communist" and want "to let muslims to take over the world". This is so ridiculous it's funny.

How about internal division? Pride? paranoia? Militarism? unpopularity? (The latter of which are somewhat linked)

It scares me that the most powerful country in the world politics is so utterly insane. Please take a reality check.

Opinions?

So fascism and communism are at the complete opposite sides of the political scale, they hate eachother and are theoreticaly polar opposites. Yet they look the same to me, both are ruled by oppressive rich dicatators, in both a lower class are exploited for the benefit of an upper class, both excessivly use propoganda to brainwash the population, the list goes on.

So really, in practice are communism and fascism similar or the same?

I'm scottish, and I can't understand why after only 2 years america has voted back the republicans into power after they destroyed the world economy and started 2 catastrophics wars which killed 2 million people.

Then Obama walks in, first black president, the economy improves slightly, there are no foreign policy disasters and he even tries to reform a health system which is controlled by unelected greedy corporate fatcats rather than an democraticaly elected government.

It seems that they are only losing because the repulbicans have convinced everyone they are communist and enemies of america. :(

Is there something I don't know?

I don't really know how to put this in good question form so I'l tell you whats wrong and hopefully somone will know how to fix it. I can't download anything on my account because my online privacy setting is set to "teen", so I have to change it to adult. The problem is that it wants a password that is somehow linked to my dads Email adress, not my Xbox live password, and neither of us know what it is. So in short, is there a way I can get the password Emailed to my dad so I can change the setting?
