In practice, what is the difference between communism and fascism?
So fascism and communism are at the complete opposite sides of the political scale, they hate eachother and are theoreticaly polar opposites. Yet they look the same to me, both are ruled by oppressive rich dicatators, in both a lower class are exploited for the benefit of an upper class, both excessivly use propoganda to brainwash the population, the list goes on.
So really, in practice are communism and fascism similar or the same?

Ok here is the differences.
Terms;
Social justice: the doctrine of redistributing advantages, assets, and benefits among all members of a society.
State Socialism: advocating for control of the means of production by the state, either through state ownership or state management.
Nationalism: the doctrine that your national culture and interests are superior to any other
Communism
Social policy: Social justice
Economic Policy: State Socialism
Fascism
Social policy: Nationalism
Economic Policy: State Socialism
---------------------------
Fascism = a radical and authoritarian nationalist political ideology with the primary guiding principle that the state or nation is the highest priority, rather than personal or individual freedoms
Communism = a political ideology advocating holding the production of resources collectively by means of government control, as to create a classless society, where resources are provided, "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need".
--------------------
The only real difference is the social policy the economic policy is the same exact thing.
-------------------------------------
An example of this is Hitler further Nationalized the German Healthcare system but only Aryans was considered full citizens, which was a requirement for healthcare.
-------------------------------------------
Another example is the Government mass construction projects Nazi Germany was famous for, one example being to Autobahnen.

Fascism
In fascism, the ownership of businesses is in the hands of private citizens and corporate entities, but the government decide how their businesses will run and what goods or services they will provide.
Socialism
In socialism, the ownership of property and of businesses and how the businesses will run and what goods or services they will provide is in the hands of the government. Here, 'government' could be either the local community, or the federal/national level.
The Free Market
Free market is a system where the ownership of property and businesses is in the hands of private citizens and corporate entities, and they decide how their businesses will run and what goods or services they will provide.
As far as I know, there is no political system where the ownership of businesses in the hands of the government, but private citizens and corporate entities decide how their businesses will run and what goods or services they will provide.

Communism has no state, class system or monetary policy, & all property is owned by the community.
Fascism has a state, is corporatist (strict class structure) & all property is controlled by the state but is still owned privately.
You observations are incorrect as in one there is no such thing as a lower class.
The main difference is that there has never been a communist society (excluding primitive anarcho communists) but there have been several fascist ones. And of course one encourages strict class structure while the other no class structure.

They both are known for killing large numbers of people,
Fascism was known under Hitler as working to kill all the people in the world,
and repopulate the world with Hitlers babies, that would have been giants, called a master race,
Communism kill all the people they dont wont for a large nunber of reasons, known as genocide.

Communism in theory cannot be fascist however if there is an enforcement mechanism to communism it definitely become fascist by the force of government. So what is freedom by people by choice becomes fascism by government control.

Communism hasn't been practiced though. Communism is a classless, stateless society. Communism is more like Anarchy than Fascism. Just because Stalin called it Communism doesn't mean it is

Actually, they are not opposite sides of the political scale. They both believe it total government control. They both believe that the people are not qualified to decide for themselves. It is only in the European political scale where Fascism is far right, and Communism is far left. In truth, they are both far left. They are just different in their approach to total government.

Fascism is the marriage of corporation and state they tend to hate Communists and Nazism was inspired greatly by Mussolini. They're not even close to similar.

Communists seek to OVERTHROW the government to impose socialism.
Fascists seek to USE the government to impose socialism.
That is the ENTIRE difference. A communist who gains power "becomes" a fascist.
If you like, I can explain why Democrats created the LIE that they are opposites.

Fascism is far less violent and psychopathic than socialism.
Socialists Hitler and Stalin killed hundreds of millions of people..
Mussolini ( the only famous Fascist leader in world history ) was mostly just annoying.
