It's worth whatever someone will pay for it.

Personally I wouldn't give you a dime for it because it's not mine, its yours and you should keep it. What would I do with someone else's deer?

the Boone and Crockett record typical white-tail is from Biggar Sask.. and scores 213 5/8. that one took 14 points (8 one side, 6 on the other) so it must have elk-like tines on it. there has not been a 200 typical taken in BC since the 50's and i would have heard about one if it was taken legally.

i suppose it may be worth something to someone but not to me. i am just as proud about my first buck that i took when i was 9 and the rack could fit on a rabbit. that is a real trophy.

Show us a picture and a certificate from Pope & Young or Boone & Crockett stating it is or was a world record. Im sure you have some magazine articles about it as these kind of things do not go unnoticed in the hunting world. What magazines can we find it in? What record book do I look at to find it? I am sure a lot of people are interested, so please post the information.

Source(s): What are you going to do now? Huh well !!! We know.

    About 87 cents.

most, if not all states have laws against selling hunting trophies.

And if a 10-pointer is a world record, I'll stick a kazoo up my butt and play a chorus of Dixie on Main Street at high noon.

    Doc Hudson

Source(s): if you and the guy who wants your trophy were in Alabama or Mississippi when that offer was made, y'all are parties to a crime, and if you'd taken the offer, you'd both be subject to arrest by the Possum Cops. Doc many huge heads? Turning down $2,000.00 for a so calle "World Record 10-pointer?" Is it just me or are the rest of you guys getting alarms from your BS Detector?

It would be worth more to you than someone that didn't kill it. You may be able to find a bar that wants it or If you used a Remington rifle or Federal ammo, they might want it.

Take them to a local gun show. There is almost always American dealers there that will pay big for record trophies.

A flint knapper or knife maker might want the antlers but other than that...... worthless.

Nothing, it is too small. No World record, and not even close.
