Kitten's pupil looks weird, what's wrong?

Hey guys! My baby kitten was sick for a while and his big brother I think took a claw to his eyeball :( the spindle of the pupil looks to be the part that was hit as it is now misshapen a little. He can see fine and I took him to the vet monday to see what I could do. He's receiving eye drops with antibiotics steroids to get stuff back in order too. But I'm just wondering if any of you have seen this before, and if so, how long does it take his little eyeball to be normal??

Update:

oooh. also, at the point where the puncture was made there seems to be a small cloudy substance. This came after we started eyedrops. could this be the bad stuff escaping his poor little eyeball?

The eyes are the second fastest part of the body to heal, next to the mouth. So depending on how bad and how deep the wound is, up to 2 weeks

This sort of happened to my puppy, but we think the groomer jabbed the scissors in her eye. It took about a week for her to be back to normal. I would just take a luke-warm wash cloth and dab it over her eye. Make sure he is well rested and eating healthy and he'll heal in no time :) There's no need to worry. These things happen alot. Hope all goes well - Hannah :)
