I'm confused here, can someone clear this up?

Ok, I get that there are people who don't like feminism. But every time I try to suggest that all tools of this evil institution be rooted out from our society I am greeted with disapproval. I see women who say they think feminism is "wrong" yet refuse to give up their right to vote, hold office, and other rights that have been obtained by the very organization that they claim to hate.

So whats the deal here, do you hate feminism or not? Don't just pick some feminist ideals and not others, if you don't like feminism then you need to give up everything that feminism has fought for since its inception.

Update:

sorry gun fanatic. Feminism has everything to do with the right to vote and hold office for women. Feminism was conceived in the mid 1700s and has fought for women's rights ever since. That includes societal gains that women have achieved since then.

Update 2:

I mean seriously, how the hell do you think women got all those rights in the first place? are you really that thick? What was the womens' suffrage movement all about then? That was a feminist movement.

Feminism has nothing to do with the right to vote and those other things. Saying that without feminism women wouldn't have the right to vote is like saying without Communism no one would've care about poor people.

People who despise feminism have legitimate reasons, since the movement is blatantly sexist and anti-male. It has nothing to do with equality but everything to do with female supremacy and hatred of men.

EDIT: No it doesn't The feminist movement didn't start in the 1700 and it sure wasn't the one that got women the right to vote. You are simply giving feminism credit where it doesn't deserve any. BTW women never "fought" for the right to vote, that right was given to them..

Well you see, women are tools. They have always been inferior to us men. We hunt, they cook. We fight, they cuddle. We invent useful things, they weave baskets and knit sweaters.

That clear things up for you ?? Shawty . ?

Edit: I agree with you, Gun Fanatic. Obviously women didn't fight becuase they're too busy cooking, the right was given to them and they're still complaining.

I agree with you 100%. I think being anti-feminist is just the "cool" thing to do nowadays, sort of like a way to differentiate yourself from your mother.

It's hilarious how there are a bunch of woman-haters in the "gender studies" section...kind of ironic, sad, and funny all at once. Kind of like the world.
