thoughts on marlin model 60?

The Marlin Model 60 is a nice, economically priced, semi-automatic .22LR rifle. It's accurate, user-friendly and of "average" difficulty to clean, lubricate and maintain.

It's a rifle that you can use "as is" without the need to replace or modify a lot of parts. Which is a good thing, because there are few aftermarket parts & accessories available for it.

It compares favorably with the Ruger 10/22.

I've not had much experience with the Savage Model 64, so I'll wait until I've had the chance to shoot a Model 64 before offering an opinion.

I like my Model 60. Go get your own. :-)

I had one for many years growing up, it is a very easy rifle to take care of and very accurate out to over a 100 yards. Very low maintance and rugged love this rifle and would own another in my life time.

They are great guns. Accurate, easy to maintain, and fun to shoot!
