what is average Accountant's pay in Dubai?

i had one offer comming to me, well i am not sure what gross pay package i should expect for job in Dubai as an Accountant in Accounts Consultancy firm.well i am MCom and have 7yrs experience, pls tell me in dollar terms, i will appreciate if you can tell me cost of living say accomodation food exp.(i am low profile guy)

    If you're just Mcom (ie not a CA) then you will not be able to demand a high salary. Probably around AED8k/month, which is $2,200 a month, gross. This includes all housing, travel allowances and basic salary. If you live in the cheaper end of Dubai (ie Deira) you could find something for AED 2-3k a month I believe.

    I suggest you go browse the site below. It's a classified from the local newspaper & the job classified section have some salary range offered. If you are coming as single & low profile like you said, then 1 BR apt probabl cost you around $10k/ year plus if you want to be mobile, u need to buy a used car for another $10k & the formalities for driving licence etc $4k.

    Take care, it is common for Gulfies to pay white Westerners more. They will treat you according to your ethnicity, not your citizenship. Do your research and try to talk to others who have worked for that company before. I wish you well. Salam alaikum.

    well it is around 75000/- in rupees ( may be converted into dirham)
