Do liberals really want Democracy?

Grillparez: Your comment is an opinion, that law was passed with underhanded procedural tricks. I was told once to be very wary of weapons I choose to use in a fight, because if your enemy gains control of that weapon it will be used against you. So how would you feel if you it became a mandate that you purchase and maintain a firearm and then purchased fresh ammo every month for that firearm. Now the reason for this is that it is believed that we can do away with crime by arming everyone. That sounds pretty silly right. Just like mandating that everyone purchasing health insurance will lower health care cost. The only thing this will do is make the insurance companies rich.
