Have you ever noticed womans toilet stalls usually have doors but many mens restrooms do not?

It seems like a gender stereotype that women should be bashful but men shouldn't be. that just always seemed weird to me. Why not put doors on all the stalls.

Update:

Nice joke Chocolate ,but not the point so stop looking at my small organ, it was all i could afford at the music store..LOL!

This is not a man verses women question just something that Ive thought of.

Im not blaming some imaginary feminist conspiracy because men are the ones who usually ran or built schools in the past..Im just wondering what was the reason for the lack of doors.

Update 2:

I think less modern public restrooms have this than they used to.

Update 3:

Wow! its interesting how many people took offense to the question. Best thing to do is look at the question and not read into it any hidden agenda. Im not blaming anyone just curious about why something ive seen was done the way it was. I'm sure it could be as simple as someone saying " how can we save money? hey i know lets not put doors on the toliet stalls in the boys restrooms they wont notice." LOL

There are doors so that women can change pads and tampons in private. If women didn't have to do that, there'd probably be no doors on our stalls, either. It's not a feminist conspiracy.

In the few men's restrooms I've been in, they had doors on the stalls and they had urinals. Women's restrooms have stalls with doors. I've always thought that people expected men to be less modest than women for some reason, but I think modesty is more of an individual thing. I don't think anyone who is insecure about their body likes showing it to others.

Way too many times. I used to work in a county courthouse. One day I entered the women's restroom and there was a trail of blood leading into a specific stall. This was not nosebleed blood but the type of blood all women can identify like the back of their hand. Of course it took maintenance hours to clean it up...

No, I have never noticed that. All the mens restrooms I have ever used have always had doors on all the toilet stalls.

Men's restrooms that have had the doors removed have been left in that condition because the restrooms have become meeting places for married heterosexual male Republican senators and clergymen who want to get it on with each other or male prostitutes in the stalls - so the authorities remove the doors to discourage it but then they just go to a motel to cheat on their wives.

I have not noticed this. I've never had a problem finding a public stall with a door when I need to drop heat.

I noticed that too, it's really weird. That and I don't want to see some guy taking a dump when I'm in there, so I never go past the urinals lol

The doors to the boys bathrooms at my school got removed because the boys were destroying the doors in many diffferent ways. (Not trying to be sexist) While most of the girls didn't really care about vandalizing school property and more about what there hair looks like. :D

I haven't been peaking into women's restrooms like you obviously have, so I will take your word for it.

But almost all men's restrooms that I have been to have had doors, unless it was a dive bar with a bathroom so nasty that I wasn't going to use it anyway. Where have you been hanging out at?
