Who or which is more dependant on the other? mankind or animals?

If animals, all animals were to become extinct would mankind or humanity continue to exist?

Update:

of course we are animals.. i meant other animals which is why I separated us from them in the question. In other words can mankind survive without their amimal relatives?

Update 2:

we could wipe them out but how would the plants get pollinated and fetilized?

    We ARE animals.

If all animals were to become extinct, that would include us...

No, we are all interdependent. We rely on animals quite a bit. Should the opposite happen, it's likely that animals would go on just fine, but without all animals ecosystems would collapse and this could lead to a lot of problems for us beyond simple vegetarianism... which btw, I am and I don't think there's any need to scoff at it "Adam swimsuit edition, backup 2".
