If the Ancient Egyptians were blacks than who are the Arabs?

We're not and never were black. call an egyptian black, he/she just might kill you. we were and still are arab, mid eastern, &african(not black, egypt isnt in sub saharah).

i know someone is going to argue with me about this. we have arabian facial features. look at the paintings&statues and carvings they made of themselves. arabian, every where.

africa is a big continent. asia&africa are connected by a land bridge. back then they probably didnt even consider it seperate(the middle eastern countried probably had their own region like they still do). egypt is a far away region from the afro americans(part of it is already in asia, the sinai desert). people in the mid eastern countries all look alike, share the same food, culture, custom, music, language, everything, also, they wore those golden wig things on their hair so that they wouldnt get lice. thats more common in straighter hair. and arabs have a lot of hair. some a lot of black people can't even grow their hair out that long. just a few hundres years ago they seperated the two continents. they basically just drew a line and said on that side its asia, that side is africa. its just a label. like i said before, the whole mid eastern region was probably like its own place. we're not black, or white, or asian, we're middle easterners. all of the middle eastern countries should have their own race. just my opinion, go ahead, thumb me down, ignore the facts.

My family on my dads side is 100% egyptian. as far as we know there was never any mixing, they're pure blood egyptians. Their skin colors range from pale-dark (most of them are a tannish color). hair textures range from straight-curly(but even when it is very curly, it isnt as curly as afro americans. some afro americans have hair so hard it doesnt go down when it gets wet). our noses aren't wide, so they range from about small-medium, and lips can be from small to medium-large (they are not ever as big as african americans). Eyes, anything. Hair color is usually dark brown, but it sometimes could be black, sandy blonde, or reddish. Its NOT like how, for example, white people basically all have the same skin color&hair texture. egyptians arent black people, no mater how dark their skin is (because of their facial features&bone structure, culture, music, food, everything, the only thing they have in common is that theyre on the same continent). And their not white people, no matter how light their skin is (They're not european). We are egyptian, arabian, middle eastern,&we SHOULD have our own category. We have a certian look. Like, if i saw another arab person, i would be able to tell they were, and pretty much any other arab person could do the same thing (no matter what color because of our FACES) I used to be really pale&have blue eyes, but they changed to green, then light brown,&green,&light brown&it kept doing that for a few years&now theyre light brown. I'm have olive/light tannish skin&dark brown hair. Our facial features are closer to european looking than african looking and in the ancient egyptian art they were too. Most Egyptians, still today, have light/olive/tannish skin. The people that say we were white or black are just people trying to take credit for something they had nothing to do with. They probably have never even seen a egyptian or have ever been to egypt. some ppl just dont fit into one of the categories (black,white,asian), thats why this whole concept of race is so dumb. Sudan&egypt used to be connected, but they had a war&split up. Sudan(nubia)was lower egypt, it was hotter, they got darker&they were closer to other parts of africa (ethiopia, somalia), mixed,&thats why we look different now. we are not the same at all any more. nubian people were always treated as foreigners because we look so diff. Our bone structer, facial features. Now we've changed even more. Diff culture, language, music, food, ppl, clothes, ect&they R even considered black now

Ancient egyptians would easily be considered black in today's world, and there are still black Egyptians today, don't know if you noticed on the news with all the attention being on Egypt, how brown the people are.

Arabic people are native to the Middle East, during the 600's and 700's, Arabic people swept into Africa, especially North Africa, and changed that part of the continent forever. They brought Islam and other cultural influences. Their empires were the Persian, Babylonian, and other empires of the Middle East.

Ancient Egyptian culture was around LONG before Arabic people invaded, thousands of years before they came into that land. The Egypt of today is very different from what was there 3 to 5,000 years ago. Arabic people did not build the pyramids, they were built by the Egyptian people who were not Arabic, but native African groups.

That person with white avatar and that big explanation trying to say she's :: caucasian!! white!! arab!!! :: and etc have no idea about history and human miscegenation. There's people in americas, islands, europe of mixed background way more caucus * than egyptians as well. Due mix.

How much people is made up by black africans in africa? You should seriously start to think together with all blacks around the world what to do with that group people who are in your lands, with similar skin tone claiming to be something totally different than the reality. I'm seeing such thing starting in americas soon, as it did in the past and ethnic were made up. Now the new mixes will become as white as its possible, and in 200 years or less they all will be claiming to be whites with no mixes.

You can deny your ethnicity but don't deny a whole continent history. That's quite asking to much. If you gonna be white!!! caucasian!!! get rdy to leave africa please. That's the same as black people in european territories starting riots because they had link with Vikings. And even if they had, the lands are from the original (albino looking) whites. Nordic and scandinavian people. The rest which got there would have being absorbed in the process.

People, use your mind. Africa is a continent, and a black people's continent. When it comes to middle east and europe, none of you try to think there were mixes and assume it was just a mere sun effect.

Africa had many many times immigrations in the continent. If you all still remember, your DnA is formed by black african ones, along with your whole genome, fossils xD. IF ancient Egyptians resembled light brown with caucus facial structure, straight hair, there's two possibilities

1) they mixed between them after meeting each other. (We are talking about ancient* people, the sex between people happened just for the wish, there weren't laws like now or people ashamed to mix because X or Y).

2) They were black africans caucus. As true as the black skinned ones with uniform DnA (indicating no mixes). What means evolution as well.

Neither Arab nor Black. They have been their own human beings. you could no longer seem at artifacts of black pharoahs and say the folk have been black via fact black represents the richness of the soil/area.

The Arabs were the people in the Middle East. The brown people that settled there, along with west Asians and mountain people and they all mixed together and became Arabs.
