Who are more Intelligent, cats or dogs?

well, some would say the dog is because he is so trainable. but the cat turns the tables and trains you instead. so who's the genius?

i would not necessary just pick one type of species because their are have been many cases that dog or cats showing more intelligence then the other, Its like humans their are some that are smarter then the other. its all a matter of what you prefer a dog or a cat, personally im a cat person and i have had dogs in the past.

Cats, by a mile. However they don't use their intelligence for practical things, and they aren't on the same wavelength as humans.

This is hard for the point of what you need.

They both offer same thing in every way. Both swim, Both guard houses and you both you can walk on the lead.

Here is what some one told me.

Cat - Thinks that they are the master and you feed them.

Dog - Thinks your the master and you feed them.

Both just amazing animals.

Dogs do because they have bigger brains and you see them doing more things than cats do. But they are both very intellagent animals!
