I've got a bill of Turkish currency that says 5,000,000 Lirasi. How much is it worth in US dollars?

    pas is right.. worth nothing. Put it in a recycling bin.. would be worth something then.. :-)

    5,000,000 old lira = 5 new lira = 3 dollars.

    So...not much at all, which is a good thing since very few places in Turkey accept the old currency anymore.

    nothing, the turkish currency changed years ago - they knocked off a load of zero's off everything. It would have been about $3.

    Worthless when it comes to trading it for banks. What currency has changed ages ago. I'd say just keep it as a souvenier or something.

    5 minus the six zero. 5 TL is now about 3 dollars but only Allah knows who will take the banknote from you.

    That must be a old lira, the new lira replased the old a years ago. But it's about $3.17
