Do you believe that this is a large threat to the well-being of humanity?

According to this article I came across on the Yahoo.com homepage, I found it rather frightening that the population could exceed to such great numbers that resources and such are heavily threatened. What do you think can or should be done to prevent too much population growth?

Much has been done to try and "control" human populations over the years. Birth control has been introduced in most countries, and China restricted couples to one child.

To make the world sustainable has been the goal of many UN agencies and NGO's.

While there is a threat, many dismiss it as something that governments will be able to deal with in the future.

Many cities of this world are traffic-jammed nightmares right now.

There will be WW3 well before that. A few billion people less (thanks to Israel) will ease any resource problem. Israel will start WW3 fairly soon, no more population problem.
