In the sense that I believe that a winning combination of TIME + AMBIGUITY will succeed in having most "prophecies" be fulfilled.

    Oh, I don't know.

Christ only said there would be distress among the nations such as has never been seen before. Does the chaos and global financial/economic crisis currently stressing earth's populations fit the bill?

How many earthquakes have we had in the last five years? More than usual from what I heard geologists saying on the Discovery Channel.

Disease, starvation, war, - all of these things are happening at a rate never seen before, and in many places all at once.

I have talked to so many people in just the last six months - religious, non-religious, indifferent, etc, etc - and all of them say the same thing in common: they all said they don't know what it is; they can't quite put their finger on it, but they feel extremely nervous and jittery like something very large and ominous is looming on the proverbial horizon.

Every one of these things fits Christ's words to an undeniable "t".

There's a freight-train headed right towards us, and there are (lmao) actually dunces who deny any of this.

Some people are more comfortable maintaining that normalcy bias to get through their days, I guess.

To assume all bible literates are 'idiots' would make this question no better. If you truly study the holy scriptures the reason will never lead you into nonsensical logic, but rather sound thinking. It is Satan that cast his shadows of logic on holy things to confuse and mislead the mind. God assigned this curse to the proud as Satan, to select those of faith to inherit the promises of His kingdom.

    >No, because reality is created one moment at a time as it occurs. What happens, merely happens. What IS simply IS. The future does not exist and neither does the past. Only NOW exists. Therefore, prophecy is nothing but a hoax. You can say anything you want to say about the future of all the NOWs that are to come...

If they do not happen as you have said - then you forget it, right? You forget all about it like you never said it.

If it DOES happen, then Whooo Peee Dee !!! Yahoo! It happened!

And so you go around saying, "See, I told you!"

And then you never let anyone forget how it was that you "foretold" it.

Even God does not know what will happen next until it does. If God does not know what will happen next, how can you or anyone else know?

Nothing exists UNTIL IT DOES or - it DOESN'T.
