Can you use foil when you make macarons?
I'm making macarons for my French class and I don't want to spend a lot of money.
So I was wondering if I could use foil instead of parchment paper.

They have a tendency to stick to metal. I suppose they would stick to foil. I always used a plain oiled baking pan then used a spatula to lift them off while they were still warm yet firmed up.

As you probable understand the parchment paper retains the cookies from over browning on the backside. Foil won't do so. in case you have have been given wax paper you may attempt 2 sheets of that. Macaroons cook dinner as this variety of low temperature i think of the wax paper will artwork effective.

I wouldn't use foil because it'll stick to the macaroons. I never use foil or parchment - just use a cookie sheet.
