I can't see why it would.
I'm 16 and I sleep with a hairy Australian Shepherd and a few different cats and I have barely any acne.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.
Holistic Acne Treatment Guide?

no, especially if your cat is using another pillow.
I was having acne problems and found out it was from being TOO aggressive with my acne. I switched to a more gentle face wash (Lush, farmacy fresh) and a balancing lotion (say yes to tomatoes). cutting out the salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide actually HELPED! it was because those dried out my face causing my face to produce more oil... when I used less harsh products it didn't dry it out so much so my face got better. it did take a few weeks to adjust (for your face to realize that it doesn't need to produce extra oil) so it might get worse before it gets better...
anyway good luck figuring out what works for you, feel free to keep sleeping with your kitty :)

No i dont think so.
If you have acne and you want to get rid of it, you should slice some tomatoes and put it on your acne for 15 mins and do it everyday until you notice your acne clearing up. The acid from the tomatoes kills the pimples and prevents them from coming back

No, acne is a skin disease that is often caused by a hormonal imbalance. If you have acne, you can rest assure that the cats have nothing to do with it.

Maybe it can cause you to breakout. And when you're not in the room or away from home, maybe your cat gets onto your pillow.
My dog and mom's cats get into our bedding, lay their whole bodies on our pillows and nap when were away from home, so we've started putting our pillows up in the morning to avoid them doing that.
Especially with cats, I think of them walking with their paws (after they've walked in their litter box) all over my pillow and though I love the cats, that freaks me out - put your pillows up.

It most likely is not the cat. you probably are like me and naturally get lots of acne. its caused from oil getting in your pores and clogging them up, so i don't see how cats could contribute to it. if it gets to bad see a doctor though, they can prescribe more effective medication.

It likely does not. I would look at your pillow case as one cause. Make sure you have a fresh one at least twice a week. Put your hair back when you sleep to keep your face clear.
Use good, oil free cleansing and moisturizing products. Drink more water.
