Sarah Palin is reportedly on the outs with Fox News Chief Roger Ailes?
Sarah Palin stirred up a hornet's nest of controversy when in the aftermath of January's deadly shooting in Tucson she posted a video on Facebook accusing the media of "blood libel" for linking her political rhetoric to the massacre.
But it turns out the video may have been more than just a political misstep for Palin. Her decision to speak out may have also alienated one of her key patrons, Fox News chief Roger Ailes, who had urged his employee to keep quiet about the debate.
"Lie low," Ailes told Palin, according to New York Magazine's Gabriel Sherman. "There's no need to inject yourself into the story."
According to Sherman, Ailes wasn't the only one urging the former Alaska governor to stay out of the limelight. She reportedly told Ailes that her attorney, Washington power lawyer Bob Bennett, had told her not to respond.
But Palin did it anyway--and in the process irked Ailes, who reportedly pays her $1 million a year to be a Fox News contributor. "The Tucson thing was horrible," a source close to Ailes told Sherman. "Before she responded, she was making herself look like a victim. She was winning. She went out and did the blood libel thing, and Roger is thinking, 'Why did you call me for advice?' "
According to Sherman, Fox is now weighing whether to press Palin more strongly on whether she'll run for president in 2012. Earlier this month, the network suspended the contracts of two other Fox News contributors, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, as they openly explore bids for next year's GOP nomination.

Makes it clear who is really calling the shots when it comes to Sarah's political opinions, doesn't it?

It's more like Rupert MurDork is angry w/ Ailes for allowing Foxic News to "get out of control," esp w/ Glennazi Dreck.
So Ailes, having seen MurDork's proxy attack dogs bash his protege, Dreck, gets the message and now wants to make it look like it's HIS idea to purge Foxic of its bizarre extremism by bashing Palin who already has gaffed her way out @ Foxic and in mainstream politics.
MurDork is 80 and 2012 will likely be his last pres campaign, so he wants to dump those @ Foxic who'r hurting the GOP's chances.
That means Dreck & Bloody Sara, but MurDork might roll Ailes' head too for allowing Foxic to get so bad, and for pushing MurDork around when Alies had the Midas touch at Foxic and was untouchable.

Top Source-Do you think her and Beck are the only people on Fox News who would hurt the GOP's chances? The only ones?
Fox hired a war criminal in 2008, you know. Do you really think they're this credible organization?

I liked Palin during the 08 election but the more I learn about her the less I like her. She would have faired better had she kept her mouth shut but she is entitled to say whatever she wants but like all of us there is a price to pay for the freedom of speech.

That is a real corker! No one can say no to Palin; even if she is an employee.
Maybe they can just suspend her contract, forever. Her ratings are a lot worse than Sheen's and he got canned.

Since the media as systematically tried to destroy Palin and her family, I don't believe anything I read about her. The last one was that her husband had an affair but it was found that there was no evidence.
