Why can't I SELECT the "Best Answer" to my OWN question (in Pets/ Cats)?
My question is now in voting. I can't access it to select the best answer (and there IS one I think merits that). Why isn't this possible??? It was MY question, after all...
In fact, what I can do is vote (once), like any other reader. (I wasn't notified of the possibility to extend or anything else, for that matter!)
EDIT I just tried to select best answer and all I'm "allowed" to do is vote. And I JUST posted this question in the last 15 minutes!
Best answer to THIS question, I must add....and no dice! (grrrrr)

You can only pick the best answer yourself after 1 hour and before 4 days are up. After 4 days it goes to the members and you just count as 1 vote. There is no requirement that you be notified even though you should have been. You must keep track of your own questions.

The question is now in voting, so you can't choose a best answer anymore, only vote. Since the expiration date passed, it has expired and went into vote. You get an email that says, "Heads up ... you may want to extend your question" since 48 hours have passed when you've asked your question. After one hour since you've asked your question, you may choose a best answer. You can extend question's expiration date to 8 days. To do so, click on [Edit]. On the drop down menu, select [extend expiration]
