I was raised in a non-religious but not specifically atheist home.

I was raised in a atheist home but my dad let me study different religions so I could pick my own. It just so happened to be atheism.

I was raised in a christian home, came to my senses, realized what a bunch of non-nonsensical bullshit it was and took the logical route and went atheist... so nope.... wrong

I was raised in a "meh, who gives a f*ck" household and became an atheist as a teenager.

    LOLNO.

I was raised in a christian home. Church every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

    I'm an agnostic atheist.

Meaning, if there is no proof to make me believe (agnostic), then it didnt happen, thus me being a nonbeliever. (atheist)

I was raised as a Christian. I almost made the same mistake with my own children.

I am an agnostic atheist raised in an anglican family home, by parents who I adore.

but the fact is, that everyone is born atheist - a blank slate without prejudice or silly religious ideas

those ideas are implanted by family, peers and culture...........this is why, if you are born in india, you are likely to be hindu, if you're born in Saudi you are likely to be muslim, and, if you are born in the USA you are likely to be a christian,

people who are born in athiest homes still have to contend with peers and national culture..... luckily, if their parents are intelligent, thinking, people they may be able to inoculate them -with logic and reason - before they are exposed to religion

Yes. We think that is why. I was not raised not to believe in God, I just asked my parents "do you believe in God?" they said "no"

    So I didn't either.

And i'm glad. I would probably be dead from lack of sleep if I had to actually wake up every Sunday morning.

You can't deny there is a strong geographical/cultural link when it comes to belief, both historical and current. That doesn't mean there is a 1:1 correlation.
