*PLEASE HELP* What is the value of this whiskey?
I have an unopened bottle of Schenleys whiskey, bottled 1953 and aged 15 years. the bottle is still in a cardboard box and highly decorated, with gold seals and ribbons. Mint condition. There is a certificate of age as well, signed by the president of the company, and by the master distiller.
How much would this be worth?
I have done a lot of research on the internet and I can't seem to find any useful info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And PLEASE specify where you get your info from!! I've asked this question already and gotten a couple of answers, but nothing helpful. PLEASE SIGHT YOUR SOURCES!
If you can't give me an answer, please refer me to someone who could. Thanks so much.

Has the seal been broken? My research revealed the same as yours, but, their is hope. Liqueur Distributors that specialize in 15, 20, 25 year scotch, bourbon, whiskey can direct you most accurately. Some of the finer Restaurants that offer aged alcohol will be glad to assist you in locating someone or even provide the appropriate research for you. Those of us in the business would know exactly who to speak with since we place weekly orders to replenish our inventory. Stay as local as possible because your chances of assistance is greater to obtain you as a customer. My guess is your questions will be answered & I think you have something special. Especially if still sealed. AND YES, YOU CAN SELL IT. It's beyond 50 years old & is a collectible
